The Role of Philosophy of Law in the System of Legal Education

Abstract

Philosophy of Law is a difficult, complex discipline, existing at the border between the law and philosophy. It deals with the law as with the form of the social and sprititual existence, as with the system of targeting of social life values, as with the universal marker of social and individual existence.


Philosophy of Law establishes methodological principles of the law and its belief system, establishes its cognitive, values, social, cultural and anthroplogical documenting, promoting implementation of the lawyers’ humanistic mission, fundamentalization of its education and establishes formation of the specialist, skilled not only in dogma-focused law levelling, but independently thinking specialist, proficient in the law interpreting.
